Welcome to all of the new citizens of PLM World who are currently using
the UGS Solid Edge products. Each year at the PLM World Conference, the
Academia Focus Group (AFG) has a track of sessions devoted to the way academia
uses the UGS Products. As new members of this group, I would like to invite
you to participate in the 2006 PLM World conference. Academic users and
their students receive a discount off of the registration fee for the conference.
We have a design contest for students around the world using the UGS product
suite and we have cash prizes for the top three finishers. For questions
regarding the activities of the AFG please feel free to contact the AFG
