PLM World and UGS PLM Solutions sponsor a national team competition
for students interested in the 3-D product design/analysis/manufacturing
using Unigraphics, Ideas or Solid Edge PLM Tools. Student competition
projects can be drawn from real or hypothetical case studies, promoting
effective and efficient usage of CAD/CAM/CAE for product life cycle management.
Cash prizes are provided to the top three teams. These teams (one member
from each finalist team and its faculty advisor) are invited to 2007
PLM World Conference, Long Beach, CA, April 23-27, 2007 to present their
results. We encourage everyone teaching Unigraphics, Ideas or Solid Edge
to get their students involved in this year's competition. Conference
information can be found at http://event.plmworld.org.
