How to get the Most Processing Speed from your Mobile Workstation.

Most mobile workstations have a feature which extends the battery life by lowering the processor speed. This saves power when running on battery power however, performance intensive applications may suffer.

If you are running UGS applications on a mobile workstation and are not using battery power, you can change the default power scheme to allow your mobile workstation to run at full speed.

In Windows, right-click the Desktop and select Properties in the menu list. Click the Screen Saver tab and then click the Power button. Under Power schemes, select Always On  in the drop down menu. Click OK on the Power Options Properties window and then click OK on the Display Properties window.
