Having to stare at the NX3, NX4, and NX5 software boxes sitting on a shelf and hearing my manager tell me to install NX5 I was thrilled. Finally! We can actually start looking at upgrading. Now I did have NX4 installed earlier but didn't spend much time in it.

I was anxious to break open the shrink wrap paper on our NX5 software box and finally get it installed and see for myself what has improved or changed. I popped in the DVD and did the typical install without any issues. Things went pretty easy and I was ready to start running. The only thing that was confusing was that I couldn't find the shortcut on my desktop…"Oh, there you are. You look just like the NX4 icon. I couldn't tell you apart."
