PLM World New England chapter Regional Users Group
The PLM World New England chapter Regional Users Group recently held its annual meeting on November 2nd, 2007 in Milford, MA. The meeting was a success with a total of 75 attendees. We had a great deal of attendance and support from the local Siemens office as well as from Geolus and John Baker. We had a good range of topics and presenters including the ever popular John Baker from Siemens. Next year, we hope to include more Velocity and Teamcenter topics in the agenda. Drawings were done at the end for a Siemens Training Certificate, PLM World promotional items and giveaways offered up by our sponsors.
Thanks to the Email Blast Sent out by PLM World to area people on their mailing list. We touched a number of people that did not know about us. This brought in about 25 new people to our group. In Discussions about PLM World, it seemed that about 1/3 of the attendees had been to a national PLM World organized conference in the past. Most feedback was positive and they were looking forward to attending the next national conference, UGS Connection 2008.
